1. Fluttering bats for Halloween

What do you need to craft this for Halloween?

  • autumn leaves
  • black paint
  • white paper
  • black paper
  • string
  • glue, scissors and black marker

Paint the petal black. Paint slowly so you don't poke right through. Cut out the bat's head from the black paper and stick it on the leaf. Cut out the eyes from the white paper. Draw it in with the black marker. And your bat is ready! You can hang them on the handle with the string. If you make a lot of them, the effect is extra fun! Hang them on a branch, for example, because that's what they do in real life. We found this Halloween craft idea here. You can of course also make them with toilet rolls as above.

2. Crafting floating ghosts for Halloween

What do you need:

  • Autumn Leaves
  • White paint
  • Black marker
  • Twine

If you want to craft the floating ghosts for Halloween, you can also start here with an autumn leaf. A fun variation on the previous Halloween crafts! The idea is the same, but now you don't make bats but floating ghosts! Paint the leaves white, and finish them with marker when they are well dried. You can also hang these leaves with a string. Is there still room between the fluttering bats for this Halloween decoration?

3. Making paper witches

As long as they're paper, witches are pretty cute, right? And they're all part of it on Halloween. If you want to craft these witches for Halloween, you have to spend a little more time for it than for the ghosts and the bats.

What do you need:

  • colored paper
  • a skewer
  • glue
  • scissors

To make these Halloween crafts, it's best to read the detailed step-by-step description for these crafts on Krokotak.com. Unless you're so creative that you can make them that way, of course... We won't copy it!

4. Halloween spooky curtain crafting for Halloween

Great for indoor and outdoor use:make your own Halloween curtain! You can make a beautiful whole from long streamers. And your kids can really get creative with it. Then all you have to do is find a nice spot for these Halloween crafts.

What do you need:

  • Wool for pom poms
  • Thread for threading
  • Cardboard
  • White paint
  • Pen and scissors

Cut out cardboard circles and let your kids make the pompoms. Or save yourself some trouble… And use the Pom Pom Wow automatic pom pom maker. Then thread the pompoms onto a long thread. Tie a knot underneath to prevent the pompom from sliding down.

Of course you can also add other things in between. Pine cones, collected during a nice walk in the woods, for example. You can also give them a dye bath. At the end of the garland you hang a self-cut ghost. You can also use felt for this if you want to hang the garland outside. If your children are going to craft this curtain for Halloween, they will be busy for a while. We found the inspiration for this Halloween craft here.

5. No Halloween crafts, but Halloween window drawings

Would you like to get in the Halloween mood but don't have the time to do extensive crafts for Halloween? Then make these nice window drawings for Halloween. 6. Ghost candles, easy Halloween crafts

These ghost candles are not only very cute, but also easy to make for Halloween crafts. Always cozy during the dark days:light a light. In your kids' homemade ghost tea light holders, that's a double celebration and they are made in no time, literally and figuratively.

What do you need:

  • empty jars
  • connection
  • eyes
  • glue suitable for glass

Wrap the bandage around the pre-glued jars and then stick the eyes on it. Don't have any eyes available? Then you can also draw them on with a marker. Light it up, and bring on those autumn storms!

7. Cheerful skeleton garlands as Halloween crafts

It will cost you some cutting work, but then the kids can also enjoy themselves creatively. These skeleton garlands are also fun Halloween crafts. And your kids can decorate them however they want. Who says skeletons are scary? As long as you dress them up a bit, like in the movie Coco.

This creative idea comes from Oh Oh Deco. Although they printed the skeletons there, it is of course much more fun to let your children craft and decorate them.

8. Crafting with toilet rolls for Halloween

Finally, the toilet rolls are needed. In the image above you can already see what you need to do to make these Halloween crafts. So Halloween crafting is a breeze, isn't it? Make sure you have paper in this color combination, it really does it!

9. Halloween pottery painting

How fun are these Halloween-style painted pots?

Get a few (mystical) colors of paint at home and paint thinly the saved glass jars. Let dry and then paint (or draw) with black the Halloween figures such as bats, skeletons, scary trees, spiders and cobwebs. Light up a candle and get scared.

10. Crafting bloody candles

Crafting beautiful bloody candles for Halloween is also a good idea. In fact… we think it's a very good Halloween worthy idea! If you start with a white and red candle… put a newspaper under it to prevent leaks! But to be honest, these Halloween crafts are not only beautiful but also made in an instant. The pins and nails give the Halloween candles that little bit extra.

11. Crafting a Spider Web for Halloween

Crafting this spider web speaks for itself. First fold a black piece of paper as an accordion. Then cut out two (or three) rectangles as you see at the top right and a slight curve at the top.

Now you have one half that you can put together. Make another one like this and attach it to the first half again. Your spider web is ready.

12. Making Halloween ghosts

I think the Halloween crafts are fantastic. Personally, I'd craft them for Halloween without the kids. See how they react when they see these Halloween ghosts without support 😉 .

What do you need?

  • Cloth that you can see through, for example bandage cloth of 60×80 cm, which you can find here. Costs less than € 0.60!
  • Bottle
  • Ball or balloon
  • Iron wire
  • Starching spray
  • Piece of black felt

I'll tell you how to make them:

You attach the wire to the neck of the bottle and let it stick out to the side (this is for the 'hands' of the ghost). You put the ball on the bottle, or blow up a balloon, that's also possible. Spray starch spray over it, let it dry and then remove the bottle, ball/balloon and the wire. Cut two more eyes from black felt and your ghost is all set.

13. Halloween garlands

You can also craft simple garlands for Halloween. What you need for these garlands are tempex balls, some paint, eyes, some black paper, thumbtacks and regular paper tissues.

You make the bats by painting the tempex ball black, cut the wings from paper and then glue them to the head. Eyes on it and poke a black pin at the top so that you can hang the Halloween crafts on the wire.

You make the white ghosts by draping a white tissue around a white tempex ball. Eyes on it, white pin in it and you're done!

14. White women for Halloween

Psssttt…. do you have a lot of chicken wire left? You will find the most beautiful creations on Pinterest. Isn't she beautiful? But I'm not going to risk it… seems too complicated to me, just wanted to show you 😉 .

15. Craft spiders for Halloween

What do you need?

  • Chestnuts
  • Chenille thread
  • Eyes

Insert the chenille wire into the chestnut as legs and stick the eyes on it. This way you have made a whole nest of spiders in no time!

16. Mandarin faces

Crafting simple for Halloween is almost impossible 😉 . Drawing faces on mandarins. Or even grab an orange. Whoops… done.
