Fun games to play; online, with Xbox, Switch or playstation through the eyes of an adolescent

My son in particular has elevated online gaming to a new sport. Now I can choose to always go against that, but I realized that a little interest wouldn't hurt either. The fun games that I've seen at him by now are extremely advanced and they all look equally beautiful. He has his preferences, and so do I. I've listed the best games of the moment for you.

Fun games for teenagers; the top 6

I made a list of the fun games that Luc tipped me. Some of them he plays himself, some he would like to play and others are certainly still fun, but he doesn't do anything with them anymore. Do you have an adolescent at home who is looking for fun games but you are not sure what to please him or her with? Be sure to check the list below.

1. Fortnite

Fortnite is definitely number one of the fun games. At least as far as my son is concerned. He plays it daily (oops) and so he practices his social skills and English a lot when he skypends Fortnite with a bunch of other guests, including foreigners.

Within Fortnite you have the 'Save the World' game and the 'Battle Royale' game. In the first, a global storm largely wipes out the population. Zombies have to be shot and fortresses built. You can play this game alone or in teams of 4 players.

In Battle Royale you are in a pool with 100 people and you have to try to be the last one standing. So here the opponent is the enemy. Fortnite released for Epic Games and is available for free for the XBox, Playstation, Switch, PC and mobile. The game itself contains the possibilities to spend your money 😉 .

Hint: Do you have a teenager who - just like mine - also likes to play against his friends. Or even want to play fun games on the xbox against other players? Then take a look at the possibilities with an Xbox live Gold credit.

2. Overwatch

This fun game is usually played in two teams of six. As a player you choose one of the 28 heroes where each hero has its own function. All of humanity is threatened by Omnic robots, an international team of heroes must be formed to restore peace, the Overwatch. This game takes full advantage of teamwork because each hero can make their own specific contribution.

Overwatch was developed by Blizzard Entertainment and can be played on the Playstation or online via your PC. For example, you buy Overwatch at Bol.com

3. Roblox

Number 3 of the fun games that my son has come up with is Roblox. I have to say that I found it a bit difficult to understand, but it turns out to be a game within a game. Or something like that . Roblox itself is therefore actually a platform on which millions of games can be played that are all 'homemade'. The nice thing about ROBLOX is that you can make your own game. And that others can play that. Or you the game of others of course 😉 .

By creating an account you can play for free on this platform and also make your own games.

4. Rocket League

Playing soccer with cars. In short then. In the number 4 of the fun games, the game is played on a field that somewhat resembles a football field and the points are therefore scored with moving cars. A game that our teenager played fanatically two years ago, but now a little less.

You can also play Rocket League via PC, Xbox, Playstation and Nintendo Switch. I think it's a funny game myself, but I can imagine that this will quickly become a bit monotonous.

All Rocket League variants can be found here.

5. Ark Survival Evolved

Are you a Jurassic Parc fan? Then the game Ark is highly recommended, the ultimate adventure with dinosaurs. You find yourself on a mysterious prehistoric island and have to explore different areas. You hunt, harvest, build tools and grow food, but also make a house to live in.

I don't like killing the dinosaurs, but you can also tame, breed and even ride them! You may play Ark alone, but you can also play it with many others. The way it is made is just beautiful! Ideal game for the gamer who loves animals.

Ark can be played online on your PC, available for the Playstation, comes out in December on the Nintendo Switch and is also available for the Xbox. You can find all of Ark's games here.

6. Minecraft

Now I'm not a gamer myself, but I've always liked Minecfart. Build a whole world with all 'blocks'. A kind of glorified block box, haha. Already out of favor with Luc, but Lotte still plays it regularly. To then show me what kind of house she has in mind later, where the swimming pool will be and what the hall will look like. She looks like some kind of interior decorator!

As far as I'm concerned, at least necessary in the list of fun games, especially because it also develops your child's creativity.

Also available for Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo Switch and PC download.

ps… in addition to these fun games, there is also fantastic Minecraft LEGO available. Maybe nothing for the adolescent, but the younger player will certainly appreciate this!
